Greg began his career with the Firm in 1991 and is a shareholder in the accounting and auditing department.

In addition to supervising accounting and auditing engagements, he is very active in tax and other planning for business clients and their owners. Clients rely on his assistance with decisions ranging from the negotiation of financing packages to planning a transfer of a closely held business to the next generation of owners. Greg has also developed a specialty in helping clients understand and maximize the benefits available from the New York State Empire Zone Program.

David C. Pitcher, CPA

David, a shareholder in charge of quality monitoring for the firm's Audit and Accounting Department, also directs the firm's Peer Review Services. He spends much of his time on audit, review, and compilation engagements, and specializes in tax and audit aspects of the mergers, acquisitions, and employee stock ownership plans, tax-free exchanges, and nexus issues. David assists clients by negotiating the purchases and sales of businesses, preparing financing packages, analyzing tax effects of alternative decisions, developing feasibility studies, and other related matters. He performs Peer Reviews of other CPA firms pursuant to the AICPA Peer Review Program. In addition, he has provided expert testimony and advice in a wide variety of malpractice, criminal, and civil cases.
